Fantastic photos! I was in Bangkok last year for the beginning of Songkran and this captures it perfectly :)

Thank you for amazing photos! I was there hanging around Chiang Mai with my Canon 350D in plastic bag , too :-))) 5 days making a hard decision-to celebrate or to take care of my camera? So I didn't get any really good photos neither had fun taking part in Songkran...So going there next year for sure! :-)))

Great photos - thank you for sharing them! I'm considering buying a Pentax K200D with a 18-250 Tamron lens - any advice on that? One of the benefits of this DSLR is the water/dust sealing of the camera body..

Wyndham, these are the best Songkran shots I've seen yet, and I've been here a long time. Good work, son.

It's a Canon 20D. If you want to see the technical stuff, hover your mouse over the main picture and click on the Information button in the menu that appears. Basically, I put the camera in a plastic bag - a bit nervewracking but it seems to work! Glad you like the pictures and thanks for the comments.

  • looks like a pro camera to me....nice and sharp...and despite the strong sunlight good shadow detail too...
    nice pix......

Hello. Found your website through the address of the pics you posted on thaivisa :)
I was wondering which kind of camera equipment you use. Because the quality looks better than a Compact but I wouldn't dare to bring my Canon 450D outside of my room these days. Do you have any kind of waterproof equipment ?
    Great pics anyway ! :)
