Wat E-Kang. One of the most impressive ruins in Vieng Kum Kam, the original site of Chiang Mai which was abandoned due to frequent flooding from the Ping River. In September 2011 the area was severely flooded again and most of the excavations, including this one were flooded once again. Subsequent flood prevention work has yet to be tested.
