Loy Krathong at Sukothai 2006

Celebrating the festival of Loy Krathong among the ancient ruins of Thailand's former capital was a wonderful experience. The highlight of each evening was setting candle floats adrift on one of the many lakes, fire balloons up into the sky and an elaborate Son et Lumiere performance.
